the minor party debate

I can't even find a photo with all the minor parties!
National is the lesser evil they say in NZ this election. Labour has shown their true colours of socialist policy, undermining family and people's intelligence in general. A marxist collective hiding under a cloak of feminimisn, Socialism, Liberation at the expense of reality and some would argue communist ideals.
It could be said that National has the economic man at the front for these times and we will hope that is the case but let us not forget that a government that pretends to acknowledge a democracy while ignoring the voice of its people is no better regardless of their policy.

The minor party debate of MMP is raging as to its future existance and effectiveness in representing the people - that is what politics should be about...shouldn't it?
Ontario has recently rejected the use of MMP and I would applaud them. MMP is a good system If the parties voted in are required to be accountable to the policy they were voted in on. If the candidates they stand are chosen by the people.
Many are aware that under MMP a party is voted in and they choose their candidates, their representation and are allowed to work in with any other party and compromise on all or any of the policies they professed to stand for to get voted in by the people. That is blatant deception and there needs to be a system of accountability.
The concept of introducing representation from all walks of a nation is relevant to today's society and an inclusive one at that - probably not a bad idea, we believe in representation and I'm happy to hear from all walks of life..key word hear, not jump. We don't need the tail wagging the dog, but it is the limp wristed democracy of 'stand for nothing' in the west that's to blame, not the people and parties taking advantage of the West's failure to stand for anything with conviction.

Minor parties need to make themselves heard this election. The Kiwi Party, Act and the Family Party need to make themselves heard of National (Labour in drag as I've heard them called) will no doubt run the same dictatorship we are trying to escape from.
The move of Labour and National to cut out the minor party debate is arrogant, out of line, and far exceeding the power they have been authorised with by the people. Who do they think they are that they would assume themselves above the other leaders we the people have voted in to compete! Hey play your games if you like in this short life, just don't use my money and try to change the rules I live by. And its not just happening here..
