Dear Ed,
We are now in the final stretch and I have been asked many times ‘ how do you think it will go?’ I have enjoyed every minute of this campaigning – the discussions, debates, conversations, research, policy development and redevelopment has added much.
The Kiwi Party started because Kiwis wanted something more than was being offered at this level.
I was shown there was a need for morality, values and truth in our laws again. There needed to be a balance of mercy and justice. There needed to be a voice for the people again, rather than the politicians.
I just wrote a commentary on all the political parties, why I have chosen personally not to vote for them... and deleted it. I want to encourage you to do the same. You may be shocked at what draws you or propels you from them.
This election we have the opportunity to be informed, read the policy, examine the people who are asking to lead us, and stand up for who we believe represents what is best for us – not necessarily what we want to hear.
I want to encourage you to be wise and aware. What we are doing now will be brought to fruition in the next 10-15 years and the rewards or consequences will be felt then. We must be careful, always thinking of the long term vision we hold for this nation, and take the steps now to achieve them.
I would take every opportunity to play a part in that, including the first step of voting, fully informed, this election.
The Kiwi Party is the first step to change. It is an opportunity to stand for something.
I will be voting for the Kiwi Party because I believe in the people that have built it and the foundation of truth that it is based on – Judeo Christian values, the timeless values the Kiwi soldiers fought to preserve years ago. Join me – Vote Kiwi
